Issaquah, Wash. - Neighbors were able to get dogs out of an Issaquah home after fire broke out on Wednesday morning.
Firefighters with Eastside Fire & Rescue, and mutual aid units from Fall City and Bellevue Fire Department responded to the fire at the 6600 block of 282nd Ave. SE in the Grand Ridge community at about 11:47 a.m.
One of the neighbors called 911 reporting that he could see flames and smoke coming from the house. He also reported that the roads into the area were narrow and steep, and that there were no hydrants in the area.
Heavy flames were visible when firefighters arrived. Water had to be shuttled to the fire.
No one was in the home but the neighbors got the dogs out before firefighters arrived.
The cause of the fire is under investigation.
