Luxury Service Gets Two Paws Up

Fine linens, a gift bag, and a treat on the pillow... a dog treat, that is.

The Jumeirah Essex House, located in Manhattan on Central Park South, will begin offering turndown service to your four-legged travel companion.

According to USA Today, the service "lets Fido sleep on a designer dog bed or mini, pop-up tent from Wagwear New York City boutique; chew on dog treats made by the hotel's executive pastry chef, and dine from Wagwear bowls laid on a matching placemat."

For humans, the award-winning hotel offers amenities such as telescopes in rooms, a spa, in-room internet, and flat-screen HD TVs.

Be prepared to spend a bit of money, however.  Guest rooms start at over $500.00 a night.
